After an Esper starts a fire, Vincent finds himself face-to-face with Karnan. The intensity of Karnan's presence is almost overwhelming—more searing than the flames surrounding them—and Vincent is momentarily taken aback. While interrogating the captured Esper, Vincent makes an unexpected proposal:

Country rebels. Assault is lead by meiko. Lukas escape with her other apprentice to resume her quest to seal the 7 demons associated to the seven sins.
Len swaps place with rin who can safely escape while he will be killed in her place. Meiko sees through it and attempts to convince him to escape together but he refuses.
He dies. Rin is heartbroken and live the rest of her life as a nun along with miku's best friend (who wasn't special last i've checked beside being an outcast in the green country because of her white hairs) who has forgiven her
Meiko gets possessed by lukas' archnemesis and dies
Some wild stuff happens to lukas, she's a main character in all following parts
