Now I get why I fell off this.
It's a telenovela. Nothing can really happen because the stakes have to feel high, even though at the end the status quo has to be maintained.
There are certain elements that are introduced and interwoven into the "narrative", but at the end everyone and everything will work out so that he can continue to live his Highschool family live.

It's kinda sad, because especially high school should be about coming of age, finding hobbies, falling in love, creating bonds.

But maybe it's because of his upbringing that everything is really shallow and superficial. He is the focal point of every social group he is in, but at the same time he is very detached because he's just too perfect.

Don't know, it's still a ok read but it feels more and more like a bag of chips then an actual meal.
