    I will say straight up, this is my top 5 mangas I've ever read, and in my top 3 romcoms. All the characters are so layered and three-dimensional and it's so easy to get engrossed in the story. I do think that the female characters were written particularly well, and it's probably because the author is a female that her characters were so good. Mayumi is one of the most memorable characters I've ever experienced in just how despicable she is, but everyone is great in their own way.

    Wish we got to see a bit more of Usa and Ritsu in the bonus chapters though. Seeing a kiss or a proposal would've been nice. Also, FUCK TAKAHASHI. HE DIDN'T PUT IN THE HOURS OUR BOY USA DID, AND THEN WANTED TO SWOOP IN AND TURN THIS INTO A NTR DOUJIN. FUCK THAY GUY.

    In one chapter we got the hashira's of this verse (IK its not demon slayer, I'm just using that word), an introduction to perhaps the strongest human in the verse, some input on someone who may be the endgame antagonist, and a personal dilemma that only us and the mc duo cares about with the idea that Kusanagi could disappear towards the end of the manga. 10/10 informative and entertaining chapter for me personally. Also kinda hoping we see kusanagi turn into more things throughout the manga, like I wanna see a giant hammer
