This manhua is actually fun.

If anyone starts reading it, I would heavily recommend to force yourself reading the first 130 chapters and finish the Soaring Dragon Plataform arc, because the pace is terrible, the action scenes are bad and the manhua cut a lot of explanations in the beggining. Basically, the first chapters are mediocre, a 2/10 at best. Everything is explained later on, but you need to endure at least until chapter 100, when everything I complained gets a lot better. If you are too confused about the story, it's not hard to find summaries about the first chapters. There's a guy who did a summary until chapter 225 and it was good and straightforward.

So, the story of Apotheosis is very formulaic, but it works pretty well as a xianxia and I think for a long manhua, the story is still good enough even after chapter 1200. By what people said, chapter 1200 is around chapter 2800 in web novel, so probably this story will end around chapter 1900. There are a lot of the problems in the story, of course. Romance is terrible (around chapter 300-350, I almost dropped because it became such a drama), many, so many characters are forgotten; a lot of places or characters are hinted to have more screentime or an importante role, but it never happens. It's so often that I'm sure this author hadn't any long-term plans. Plotholes? Yup, I could list right now at least 20. Anyway, it's not a perfect story or a masterpiece, but definitely a good read. The power system is really well done, IMO.

About translation, I would recommend to read official translation until the last chapter released, and then go to ManhuaPlus. I read it this way and it was a smooth read, the translation was fairly consistent.

I think the first 39 chapters were redrawn, so if the art gets worse after chapter 39, it's because of that.

This is a relatively classical cultivation series in the way it is structured, but is executed very well.

For those that enjoy xianxia, this is a great example of the genre. It starts as a typical cultivation series, though as MC ascends to higher and higher worlds, it gets better. World-building is excellent, among the best in cultivation series... some of the cosmic mechanisms surrounding the various higher world get a bit mind-bending. The cultivation systems, sects, and methods are fairly original, and keep the series engaging even 1200 chapters in. Art is great is style and quality. MC is a bit bland but passable. Secondary characters can be little two-dimensional occasionally but on the whole fairly well-realized.

Overall worth a read if you like cultivation/xianxia. Stick to official version or Manhuaplus for the best quality/translation.

In chapter 13 the MC kills a guy who was just mouthing off at him and trying to stir up trouble.

And then they all celebrate it afterwards.

I really hate this kind of setting where people can just commit murder willy nilly and get away with it.

Was that guy bad? Yes he did try to stir up some trouble but just up and killing him is, imo, way out of line. The death penalty should only be applied after a fair trial and the defendant should be given a fair hearing. Instead the MC just killed the guy because the guy said some mean words to him.

I don't like this MC.

This one is an enjoyable one to waste your time. Although the story is a bit rushed and a lot of things are not explained to the readers. Example,

the Demonic God Fist he used in lower world disappear out of thin air and have no idea what happened to it in upper world. The ugliest plot hole is the relationship between Luo Zheng and Xi Youqin. Zheng is supposed to be a righteous guy but he took her virginity and left her in the lower world without even saying a good bye. And also he doesn't seem to care. But now again, they are now already made up with just a single meeting on Fantasy Field.But overall it is still a good one and worth reading.

The story is extremely rushed, at first i thought it might just be rushed in the beginning when the author establishes current events and settings but no, the whole manga is rushed!, it skips a ton of information and story so much so that i found myself thinking "if they keep going at this pace the manga will be over soon", but then i realized that this manga has 813 chapters and i am not up for this rushed crap for another 797 chapters no way!...

Another thing is that it takes absolutely no time to introduce new characters, the traveling isn't show, it's like this, one chapter hes in one place and then in the next chapter hes in a completely different place with people he seems to know but the author has completely neglected to introduce to the reader, the characters motivations are also shallow

It's a poor manga or Manhua, don't read it.

I dropped the manga at chapter 16.

Weel i read the manhwa and than off cours got to the ln and i must say the cthulhu nonsens the MP lucks licke he is geting stronger but just dosent get stronger till the final chp he is weell i cant say a loser butt near a loser so i sugest people should go read the 25,lastChp you will save a loot of time anyway this like a lot off ln i read heav,stillam good butt there is no butt.

Dudes family is killed while his sister is off studying, as a slave he finds the book his father had given him ages ago which was a family hand me down. It gave him his MC power which in turn was a golden skeleton that evolves like weapons in the series do. He eventually defeats the main villans and goes to a multiple new worlds and finds out about his past and who he exactly is in the world and how he has to make his own destiny since he doesn't have a concrete one like everyone else does. His final and main goal throughout the whole series will aways be to find and get his sister back.

As of from the starting not even able to understand what is happening, as of now it has 497 chapters and there are soo many loopholes even though author might think it is good he is digging his own grave by doing so(the starting plot) as by not sticking to the MC's main power and by providing many, even the story is working at a better pace as compared to before it is still a big mess, no powers explained and so many names that you might go confuse who was which character if it was the starting i barely would have given it 5 just because it has regular updates otherwise........ but it is now better so if you want to read it from the starting then you need a lot of patience and don't dwell too much into the plot
