The setting will feel familiar and many elements are well trodden clichés, but this is still very sweet and enjoyable. The children's behavior is fitting (often these stumble by making them act like tiny adults), which certainly helps keep the early part of the story enjoyable (I assume there will be a time skip to when they enroll into the magic academy).
It was amusing how the main character kept questioning the point of him retaining his past memories (lamp shading how isekai is often unnecessary).
In the end Hes still a demon, besides His trusted Minions need Help. Also He wasnt banished with the consent of the demon King, through Most of the demons Made fun of him after He Got banished there are demons Who still are in His Side.

Do give this a go if you enjoy romances.
And I'm glad everybody got their own happy ending
