Centers on a young woman named Kei and a genius director, Sumiji, who meet at an audition for aspiring actresses. Kei Yonagi originates from a humble background. Her father abandoned her and her two younger siblings, leaving Kei to care for the family following their mother's passing. When the chance arises to pursue her dream of becoming an actress, Kei seizes it without hesitation.
Director Sumiji Kuroyama takes notice of Kei, marking the beginning of her journey to stardom. However, Kei's acting prowess stems from her intense and innate ability to engage in Method Acting, a talent that several people view as potentially harmful to her well-being.
