Although nothing is known yet, tite kubo said this in his tweet:

this CLEARLY states that it isnt meant to be stretched into an arc and supposed to be read as a festival or a celebration, sadly :(

And? This is trash writing and everything from Kishimoto is nothing but garbage. The day it will end will be a celebration because in fact, especially for youtubers nowadays, NOBODY CARES ABOUT BORUTO.
Even Forneverworld nowadays is no more on the platform to talk about it. Plus, it's selling like nothing to the point where at this point now, Boruto is nonexistent.

I guess one complaint is that none of the girls have much development at all yet
