The first six volumes of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann were published in English as Gurren Lagann by Bandai Entertainment from May 5, 2009, to August 9, 2011, before the publisher became defunct. It was also published in Brazilian Portuguese by Nova Sampa from July 2013 to December 2015.
