I think the issue is that the author uses a lot of pages for small things, therefore, even if for a future reader it will be a pleasure to go through all, we wait so long for slow developements. It's overal not great for a running series.

Chapter 699 page 13. Naruto rescues the Yang half from sasuke's ball-of-doom, and they smile. The literal last time we see kurama talk is when he's talking to six-sage, who tells kurama to go back to being inside naruto, to which the Yang half agrees.
Given how yang-kurama smiles at the end, it's safe to assume he honored the wish and went back.

Additionally, Yin-kurama is literally darker than both his original form and the yang half. In Boruto manga, kurama is the same color, so it's not the yin half.
Sure, the Yin half could have decided to be free... but that's not likely, as yin-kurama said naruto was the one and only friend for both halves (chapter 698).

Lastly... we see kurama outside of naruto the "The Last" movie. In it, he's double the size of the yang kurama we see normally. When we first saw full-kurama before being split in half, he is double the size of yang-kurama.

It's heavily implied naruto had both halves, and both are gone.

Looks like we're going to have a Redemption Arc for Denji, he'll make peace to his past and stop blaming himself for what had happened to everyone he loved

Sooner or later, he needs to take a bite of the apple (all his trauma), and after he deals with Snow Devil (Power and Aki), he'd barfed Bitterness Devil (Makima), then Octopus Devil (Yoshida)

Damn, I've been looking for Volume 2 everywhere. Everyone keeps saying that there are only 10 chapters when reality there are 16.
