Slow Step

Incredibly mid. By the end, none of the major questions are answered. I was honestly hoping this was not going to be like Attack on Titan, Knights of Sidonia, Blame, I Am A Hero, etc, where basically the story is decent but there is some kind of higher dimensional or supernatural force pressing the plot forward and then it just never gets any explanation or resolution. Sadly, that is what happened here.

I don't understand this. There are no main characters, no battles (no, they are not battles), and nothing interesting about the setting other than it being a fantasy world. Some manga can get away with no battles and a boring setting, but no characters?

The pacing is pretty fucking spotty, like there are gaps between chapters like we are suppose to know exactly what got us to the beginning but it just feels like we are teleporting from set piece to set piece.
