Wanting to fix things once and for all, even at the expense of your life. When you die like that, you'll be satisfied. At the end, you really wouldn't care much if you led a fulfilling life. You will care about whether your dead will be fulfilling or not. And these men were able to go with a smile, signifying that their deaths were indeed fulfilling. I hope to die like that too... it seems peaceful.
