This is so good. Its about a normal and flawed guy, who has incredible talents that includes a perfect memory, the ability to find deep patterns, and the ability to adapt in situations with pressure. He represents an above average person who hadnt found their calling in life yet. His parents act too kindly upon him, and he wants them to act stricter and apply a pressure for him to excel.
Indeed, as he says it himself, it isnt his fault he is the way he is in the first few chapters. Most people without motivation or a calling in life usually end up like that, but as his company went bankrupt, he reverted back into a NEET which put immense stress and grief on him about how he is as a person and what he is doing in his life.
Only thing I'm not a fan of so far is the unnecessary hiding of his abilities. I can understand loosely hiding the full potential of them but choosing to allow be to be in danger due to not wanting to perform goes against his idea of wanting to live a simple life and protecting his new family/friends. Hopefully the hiding thing doesn't last long.
Considering My Hero became a laughing stock because of it's shipping fanbase I don't doubt it. Granted the other parts of the fandom didn't help but you can't deny shippers played a huge factor.
What an amazing ride from beginning to end, even if the trial at the end dragged on for a bit. That epilogue was all sorts of wholesome that the story needed by the end
