I knew there was a reason this reminded me of Bakuman, it's written by the same author! This is gonna be good.

There are NO GOOD MASTERS. If you claim you own a human being like some sort of cattle you are automatically a piece of shit no matter how much you claim to sympathise. Let me be clear. If in the story the slaves decided to rebel and ended up indiscriminately killing all citizens and nobles they came across, I would have no issue with it. More importantly, the MC shouldn't have any issue with it. There is no situation in which it is believable for the MC to turn around and slaughter rebelling slaves for the nobles.

So yeah... It's a story that started out with decent potential, but as it went on it started rushing ahead, butchering the MC's established character while making extremely stupid choices for other characters. Maybe it had some idea of what it wanted to say, but any depth it wanted to convey is being lost in temper tantrums and relationship dramas.
