I read the first season and I found it very enjoyable despite being a big build up. I don't dislike the protagonist at all, compared to other MCs of some wuxia who are often bullies drunk on power and just an excuse to write stories with delusions of omnipotence, this one barks like an angry dog a lot but is genuinely a decent person.  it's also nice to read a story that's not about revenge, but more about finding out what happened in the past.

Last. I really like the graphic style and that's the reason I started reading it even though it's generic in many parts. The Worldbuild is also well done.

I just finished.  I loved it!  It never disappointed me.  It  doesn't jerk you around for 200 chapters like some manga.  It's wholesome and satisfying too.

I hope that girl in maid outfit becomes one of the mc kin or whatever for revenge LOL
