The story unfolds in present-day downtown Tokyo. Our heroine, Handa Sen, affectionately known as "Osen," is the star hostess at Isho-an, a long-standing and beloved restaurant in Kasagi-no-yado town. Osen has a deep love for sake and exudes charm in her kimono. She's also incredibly versatile: a master chef, an entertainer, a potter, and an art connoisseur. The comic follows Osen as she navigates and resolves various events surrounding Isho-an. Whether through the Japanese spirit of "wa" or simply by applying logic, Osen finds solutions to every situation.
