Natsuko, formerly a copywriter, embarks on the challenging journey of cultivating Tatsunishiki rice, a rare and difficult variety to grow. Her motivation is deeply personal: to fulfill her deceased brother's dream of making the best sake in Japan. Throughout this endeavor, Natsuko faces numerous obstacles. The manga "Natsuko no Sake" has been published in French by Vega-Dupuis as 2-in-1 omnibus volumes from September 12, 2019, to December 3, 2021. Notably, the publisher's fifth volume was selected for the official selection at the 49th Angoulême International Comics Festival in 2022. Additionally, the series was adapted into a Japanese live-action TV drama that aired from January 12, 1994, to March 23, 1994.
