Young Kai has fervently admired Ginta ever since his valiant fight in the War Games six years ago. Since then, ARMs have become widespread, especially Guardians! However, Kai doesn't possess one himself and dreams of obtaining an ARM similar to Ginta's. When his caretaker, an elderly ARM-smith who took him in after his parents' deaths, sends him on an errand, he is ambushed by a bandit from "chess"! In his attempt to flee, he stumbles upon more than he anticipated when he encounters Babbo! But with Babbo's awakening, the counterfeit ARMs are spiraling out of control! Is it now Kai's destiny to save MAR Heaven by following in his hero's footsteps?
