Saruno Amakuni feels like he might be the last high school boy on Earth without a girlfriend, and it doesn't seem like his luck is going to change anytime soon. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed, often finds himself in trouble, and the only way he can get a girl's attention is by catching her undressing in the locker room — which usually ends with him getting slapped. He starts to think that maybe, just maybe, what girls really want is a guy who's part of a sports club. So, he decides to join a baseball club, hoping to win over Nagi Torii, the manager. Despite his constant boasting, he's actually a complete beginner!
