lol, the only method the author uses to justify physical abuse in their stories is caricaturization, these characters are not representative of a population but a small percentage or a nonexistent version of it. I’d argue the author is a pussy for using straw men instead of using examples applicable to reality.

And who fucking thinks hurting someone physically or mentally somehow whips them into shape, wouldn’t that just stew more hatred and if we’re assuming the worst out of the person, wouldn’t they just pretend yet still continue to bully in secret, this shit don’t work it’s not that hard to see.
