Long ago, when Japanese gods descended upon humans, their mixed offspring inherited supernatural powers and were named "Kuruizaki no Hana." Now, those from the Demon world are rising to eliminate these descendants—led by the cool and confident assassin, Ushitora. He is revered as a lethal professional, but when he falls in love with a gifted boy named Masato, everything changes. Ushitora betrays his people, choosing instead to sacrifice himself to a life on the run to care for Masato and a spirited orphaned girl named Nao. (Source: Tokyopop) Kuruizaki no Hana was partially published in English as Demon Flowers by Tokyopop. The publisher released the first four volumes between September 11, 2007, and October 1, 2008, before becoming defunct.
