It's truly a beautiful story, even though it doesn't center on a single character. Each chapter narrates how a couple meets, naturally through the concept of a love letter. It's hard for me to do justice to it in words; I'd rather recommend reading a few chapters online. The book is available in English, but only as a two-volume set because Del Ray omitted two stories from volume 3, I believe, due to some 'nudity' in those chapters. This is why the second volume in English will be a bit thicker than the first.
