    Also theres no telling how long it will take for them to be able to stablish a defense. Imagine he does nothing during his lifetime and you are left with only AIs to take care of everything? Even on the remote possibility he leaves a heir they would not know anything about the galactic empire directly, only second hand information and without his military training.
