Man, the seeds were already there in past arcs and interactions, but Ch 236 sure displays parallels between Ninomiya and Osamu even if they seem so different at first glance. And it's even there in the team dynamics when comparing the members, like Tsuji to Hyuse and Inukai to Yuma.

Ninomiya's squad bluntness makes them come off as jaded/insensitive at first, but them doubling down on it due to a lack of communication hurting them the most in the past. Therefore, they prioritize the "message" WAY MORE than the "delivery", even it make anyone in Border wanna shoot them as the "messengers"... cuz it beats being ghosted and never getting any message at all.

It may even be part of why Ninomiya is how he is with Chika during this exam cuz he saw some Hatohara in her and doesn't want what his squad's shortcoming to be hers and jeopardize Tamakoma-2.

For a flashback I wasn't expecting that wasn't even the whole chapter, Ch 236 is a 10 for me.
