It is unfortunate, the art is competent enough and the premise is "good", but the writing just isn't on par. The author wants too much to get to the high points of their story but completely foregoes the build-up.

It wants to transmit this camaraderie feeling but it simply does take its time to construct the value of its relationships, then we get these "epic" moments for characters that we don't give a damn.

Can't say how much this will last but it won't be breaking any expectations, if you want something like this but better... read Tokyo Revengers.

It’s not often that I’m cheering for a mindless dragon to kill a party lol
