Spirits known as kamui fall into chaos when the sacred spirit Okikurumi is taken from Atsuma's village, threatening to destroy Earth. Infused with the power of an ancient sword, Atsuma must leave his village to reclaim Okikurumi.
On his journey, he meets NOA, a group of young people who wield the power of the kamui and may hold the key to finding Okikurumi. Atsuma is recruited by Sumire, a young woman with an empty soul who longs for a miracle. Together with his new companions, Atsuma must find Okikurumi before the world is destroyed.

The characters were compelling, and I was always eager to discover what would unfold next. Despite the manga centering on destruction, it also beautifully illustrates unbreakable bonds. There are surprising twists, and the narrative is strong. However, it did start to feel a bit drawn out towards the end. I found myself questioning why events were still progressing and wondering if it would conclude soon.
"Whoa, talk about complicated," was the first thought that crossed my mind as soon as I completed this manga. It's one of those stories where there's so much happening that by the time you reach the end, you can barely recall what took place earlier on. Yet, it’s also the kind of manga that grabs your attention from the start, pulling you in so deeply that you can't stop until you've finished it, no matter if it's 4 a.m. and you're struggling to keep your eyes open. Just like me right now.
