She is the demon king's daughter and seems to be aiming for his revival. We do not know much about her character though so your description of her seems harsh and aggressive at this point. Even if she goes on to be antagonistic against Douglas, this series seems to lean towards redemption rather than condemnation for characters with more complex situations (the assassins being straight forward evil seem to receive no such mercy).

Unless of course she was killed and replaced by that one guy, but that seems unlikely.
