You just don't get it. Saul is the strongest character in the verse, being so strong he is able to resist being a flashback death, the only way people can die in One Piece. He's the strongest in the verse. Meanwhile Ace is so weak he managed to die not only in the present day, but even on screen. He's the weakest in the verse. Its simple math.
