Himejima Himiko has no knowledge of her parents' identities. In truth, she recalls very little about her past. She is, in fact, a sacred child hailing from a parallel fantasy world. At the time of her birth, during a sacred flame ritual, an evil general with sadistic intentions attacked the palace. This caused the six guardians of the flame to scatter and nearly resulted in Himiko's death. Years later, Himiko and her adoptive brother return to her homeland, only to find it ravaged by war.
