Honestly I think she's already shown the growth you want, if anything this was running away from her feelings after the "Misunderstanding" and not her normal I'll date anyone who asks me thing. She didn't actually give the other guy an answer immediately and only accepted after she thought the door was closed with Kyo. It's not a healthy relationship choice either but it's not like her old habits.
would be nice if Tokio and Palma ended together cause in this series characters except the Main trio look at pain as something trivial. And Palma is a zombie maker choujin which is so close to death and she can speaks to dead people would be nice if Tokio shows how a normal human being lives and shows her the value of life
