The anime sure chose a weird time to take a break, just a few weeks before the manga did.  They should've just continued airing episodes up to this point, and THEN break for a bit while the manga gets ahead.  Otherwise, its comeback will be quickly interrupted by yet another break, unless it relies on even more fillers like part 1 of Naruto did before Shippuden aired.  I don't need to tell anyone here how excessive fillers severely hurt the Boruto anime.

Was there a lack of communication between the manga and anime writers?  Did they not know that the manga was gonna break only a few weeks after the anime did?  Or did the anime stop because of low viewership or something, and thus they couldn't get to this point even if they wanted to?
