I concur. This isn't the first time I saw the manhwa industry sabotaging itself. Take a recent title "AIRE" for example, author wanted to do training arc by season 2, but for fuckknown reason he was forced to cramp that shit into a few ending chapters of season 1 thus making every point made onwards look forced and at times unreasonable.

This is why (mainstream) manhwa hasn't been able to reach the level of their Japanese counterpart. They all started with great potential but due to lack of caring started to fall apart as things progress.
