The pacing is so strange in this series. The plot development is there albeit slow, but the world is moving so incredibly fast around the main cast who are still beginners despite the series going on for so long. The author insists on having fucking weaponry lectures instead of having the characters grow at an adequate rate while a grand war is developing at the same time. The main cast cannot be expected to do anything for the actual plot development at this rate so I'm really not sure what to expect.

The chapters are so needlessly densely populated with random lectures that its actively impeding the story telling which has potential but isn't being properly developed because they want to show titties or are having wiki dump sessions.
