First of all, despite what the cover may show this is not a josei romance with a vampire. This is a dark, medieval world with a never-ending war between the forces of dark and light. Don't get confused, neither side is fighting for humanity anymore, they're just trying to wipe each other out whatever the cost. We follow this undead noble who strangely retains all his memories before his death as he struggles for survival. Obviously he is a target for the paladins of this world, despite never having harmed an innocent human being. We get a very explicit display of what people can commit in the name of "justice".
Its like every manga I'm attached to is ending. First horimiya, and now this. I didn't really expect to love this as much as I did when I started reading. At first, I kept reading because the art style reminded me of horimiya and because I was really depressed when it ended. Over time, I just grew more and more attached to the characters and everything they stand for, it was so unlikely of me yet I... loved them. It may not the be the best story in the world but it certainly has a special place in my heart and it will always be there. If you still haven't read this, and is planning on doing so, just please, don't be too hard on the story. Enjoy it, cherish it and keep on reading. I'm sure that you will at least find it hard to stop reading. I love you okyu no trinity.
It's so sweet without being cheesy and using sexual activites (such as kiss or hug), i love them so much. To people who think they're just friend: when yugami said "not as a friend, but let's go together", what else then if it's not lover? When he spoke Russian to Chihiro, he really said "you mean a lot to me" to her. In extra, they aren't just watching Rakugo but doing other activities that couples usually do. And also how Yugami tried to remember Chihiro in his life is super cute. I love this couple a lot.
