A Tengu is an exceptionally proud and arrogant being. In Japanese culture, the phrase "to become a Tengu" means to act in a conceited manner. These creatures are rumored to kidnap young children from their homes. In this narrative, the broken and disgraced remnants of the tengu species unite from across the country. Their goal is to rise up, restore their pride, and rule over Japan, a right they believe belongs to them.
