Every year, the flowers bloom. Mysterious cherry blossoms cover a crescent-shaped island known as Hatsune. The protagonist, Asakura Junnichi, attends Kazami Academy and possesses the unique ability to see other people's dreams while he sleeps. Additionally, an elderly woman taught him magic that enables him to create sweets. One day, Junnichi seems to have experienced someone else's dream once again during his sleep. In this dream, a girl who was his childhood friend appeared. However, he was abruptly woken by his sister, Asakura Nemu, pulling him back into his regular life. Despite not being blood-related, Nemu and Junnichi share a bond deeper than most siblings, sometimes even giving the impression of being lovers. It was another peaceful, normal day—waking up early in the morning and heading to Kazami Academy. Alongside his childhood friend Amakase Miharu, academy idol Shirakawa Kotori, and the two sisters Mizukoshi Moe and Mako—who prefer eating nabe on the school roof for lunch—they proceeded through their day as usual. Suddenly, their childhood friend Yoshino Sakura, whom they believed had moved to America, reappeared. This came as a surprise to Junnichi and Nemu. Sakura told them, "I came to fulfill the promise we made during our childhood."
