Suginami is Jun'ichi and Nemu's classmate and frequently offers Jun'ichi advice on relationships with girls. Despite being an excellent athlete, a top student, and good-looking, his oddly unsettling personality makes most people keep their distance from him. He enjoys teasing Mako and involving Jun'ichi in various situations.
His descendant in Da Capo II, 50 years later, bears an exact resemblance to the "old" Suginami and acts in the same manner.
