What a nice plot

I really love the concept! Stuck in a loop, kill to progress one day. Very very cool, could be so much fun with intrigue, meticulous planning and space-time shenanigans.

But it falls flat very fast. Because the story is just an amalgamation of tropes.
MC is the typical "I would do anything for my sister" type. He has NO personality apart from being a hard worker, being frustrated, being a good brother and becoming a psycho. What does his childhood friend see in him? She told us, but we as the audience didn't see shit.
And why is the poor abused and raped girl a freaking psychopath? Now even without a proper face. That is just cruel and for what? Just more stupid conflict.
The detective is by far the most interesting character, even though he is just the creepy 1 dollar store version of L.

All in all the premise is superb, but the execution sucks.
