Slapstick comedy is not my thing apparently.
I don't understand the humor in this and I've tried so, so, SO many times to read this because I'm desperate for something funny. I'm more sad and confused than anything. I want to be in on whatever joke this story and several reviewers are talking about but...I just don't get it.
N/A
Ignore the haters, this is funny. The ONLY downside is that every 10ish chapters there is a new "threat" that is world destruction level to the extent that said level of threat has lost all meaning. Most likely that was intentional though as MC can (and has) destroy(ed) the planet himself.
its starting gave off classic manhua mc revenge trash type vibes
author did try to put in humour but there wasn't anything actually much funny
it was just absurd situations followed by charcter reacting in a absurd way to try and make readers laugh. Good try though.
as story goes on it becomes more and more frustrating to put up with annoying characters and mc who is supposed to beat the crap out of others
but gets his ass handed to him everytime and then he would forgive them using some lame ass logic that actually makes sense.
author can't even decide mc's personality
one moment mc is merciless and thirsty for revenge another moment he's like "hehe u beat the crap out of me but you can give me money so i forgive you sir"
Worst aspect of this manhwa is power leveling which doesnt make fucking sense
At start mc is overpowered and kills the most powerful boss to exist in chronos game
and then is getting beaten around by other deadly sins weaker than him and like i said before he forgives them
well thats about it but if you can put up with this much frustration then u can give it a read
it may be okay in start but as story goes it will only get worse
if it had stopped with destroying the world and the stick disappearing it would've been fine. but it's getting dragged out for no reason using the some cliches and weird Korean game tropes.
It's a comedy, don't know why it isn't in the genre.
One-punch lvl MC is a battle maniac, and the question is always "what crazy thing will he do now ?"
In this kind of story, you know that they will always win. How can the author still make us worried about the characters is the real challenge. As of chapter 53, it's quite good.
The art is good.
I can handle silly but this .... is just so stupid. The characters are just so frustrating to the point you want to throw an ACME pie at the author. There is no light heartedness in this story, just a toxic kind of humor. The art is nice but that is about it for positive aspects.
Conclusion: Too annoying to read
read till chapter 5
seems this manhwa is aimed at comedy primarily.
i mean, at least it did deliver upon its promise, the mc really did take revenge and be done with it, he even got to keep the weapon.
So its kinda like one punch man except its not.
well either way, its not the kind of manhwa i'd read but theres nothing explicitly bad about it.
tho the world really is lacking development and from a game design perspective that game is basically gacha.
