Yuzuru is Takaya's best friend, known for being soft-spoken and having a friendly disposition. Typically a loner, Takaya genuinely cares for Yuzuru. Yuzuru becomes a central figure throughout the series, shrouded in many mysteries. He appears to possess mysterious sacred Buddhist blessings and miracles that could destroy the entire Six Worlds, yet he has no knowledge of these powers himself. His past soul or identity during the Sengoku Period seems to have been of great importance. Initially, he is targeted as a surrogate body for the revival of powerful warlords like Shingen and Nobunaga. Yuzuru often finds himself involved in psychic wars due to his connection with Takaya and his compassionate nature towards others in distress.
