kanda yuusuke

Yuusuke is a lively and cheerful individual, popular among girls and generally well-liked by others. Much to Shin's annoyance, Yuusuke always wears a foolish grin on his face. Initially, he develops an interest in Maria, attracted by her beauty and intriguing personality. He is the first student to approach her and frequently appears wherever she is. While he has a deep fondness for her, it is not yet clear if his feelings go beyond admiration. It seems he is aware that Meguro also likes Maria, as in chapter 11 he challenges Meguro, telling him that if he doesn't take action, he might "steal Maria away". Yuusuke taught Maria the "lovely transform". He affectionately calls Shin "Megu-chin" and Maria "Maria-chi". His facial expressions often become comically exaggerated, especially when someone (usually Kawai) opposes one of his ideas, with thick dark outlined eyes and a w-shaped smile. Later in the series, he confesses his love to Maria.
