A trans woman who first appears in Round II, where she uses the alias of Hitomi Miyahara (Hitomi is her friend whom she substitutes for as player No. 3). Sly and calculating, Fukunaga is also a 5th degree black belt. She is a skilled manipulator whose greatest weaknesses seem to be her desire for money and her short temper. Fukunaga significantly hinders Nao and Akiyama during Round II and the Revival Round but has never managed to outwit Akiyama. However, she cooperates well with them during Round III and even when she finishes the round debt-free, she chooses to continue in the tournament. During Revival Round II, she disguises herself again with a long, blonde wig. To avoid revealing her skills during the mock simulation, she sends Nao in her place, which aligns with Solario's expectations. Though Fukunaga seems to have a fondness for Nao in her own way, she doesn't consider her competent. In chapter 83, Nao concludes that Fukunaga has a crush on Akiyama.
