Yukari is among the first-year students at the school and resides in the same dormitory as Mizuho and Mariya, who she refers to as her Onee-sama, meaning "older sister". In this setting, it's customary for underclassmen to serve their senior students in any way possible. Similar to Kana and Mariya, Yukari is very energetic. However, unlike them, she has a profound fear of ghost stories and anything frightening, a weakness that Mariya frequently exploits for her amusement. This fear initially caused some issues when Yukari first met Ichiko. Yukari is part of the track and field team alongside Mariya. She joined mainly because her older sister-in-law, who had encouraged her to attend this school, was also involved in track and field. Over time, Yukari discovers a genuine interest in track and field and continues with the club activities even after facing periods of low self-confidence.
