Height: 161cm Mariya is Mizuho's childhood friend with a deep understanding of him. When it was decided that Mizuho would transfer to the all-girls school she also attends, Mariya took it upon herself to transform him into a beautiful girl using makeup, the school uniform he would wear, and some prostheses. She seemed to have a lot of fun dressing him up as a girl. Mariya has a spirited personality which she frequently uses to ensure Mizuho acts feminine in every way: appearance, mannerisms, and even speech. This often includes employing mild violence. She also has a temper, over which she has little control, sometimes leading her to do inadvisable things or carry grudges to an extreme - such as her grudge against Takako. Throughout most of the time Mariya has known Mizuho, she has always been there as his support whenever he needed her. However, later in the series, she finds that without her even realizing it, he has managed to stand on his own in terms of self-confidence and maturity. Initially, she is very uneasy about this change and unsure how to act towards Mizuho after this revelation. Additionally, she discovers herself harboring some romantic feelings for Mizuho, of which she had been unaware. Mariya is a member of the Track and Field Club.
