Yuber remains a complete enigma. Known as The Black Knight, his true identity and nature are shrouded in mystery. Even the question of whether Yuber is male or female remains unanswered. What is known is that he wields the Eightfold Rune, a True Rune with unknown powers. Yuber's abilities clearly surpass those of ordinary humans.
He frequently appears during significant conflicts, such as the Gate Rune Wars, the Dunan Unification War, and the Second Fire Bringer War. For centuries, Yuber has served Windy, aiding her in her quest to find True Runes and causing untold destruction along the way. During the Dunan Unification War, he was hired by the Highland Army, likely due to Leon Silverberg's familiarity with him.
When Luc devised his plan to destroy the True Wind Rune, Yuber joined forces with him purely because the plan promised chaos and death, which he relishes. In every conflict he participates in, when the situation becomes dire, Yuber abandons his post to save himself, acting like a true mercenary.
Yuber harbors a deep-seated hatred towards other True Runes and actively seeks to destroy anyone who wields their power. The reason for this animosity is unclear. Only Pesmerga seems to know more about Yuber, though Pesmerga himself is also an enigma. He describes Yuber as being akin to a shadow.
