As the system administrator and leader of G.U., Yata seldom interacts directly with the players of The World R:2. Instead, he spends most of his time at his base, the Serpent of Lore, meticulously scanning the system for anomalies and closely monitoring users, especially the eight Epitaph Users. He rarely leaves his base, preferring to dispatch his subordinates Pi and Kuhn to carry out his directives while he oversees operations remotely. Initially, Yata admired Ovan after their encounter, but soon grew resentful when AIDA and Aura favored Ovan instead. Yata is a secretive individual, making it nearly impossible to discern how much he truly knows. Despite his administrative role, his concern for ordinary users is questionable, and he seems indifferent to actions that endanger innocent player characters. However, his subordinates generally exhibit more ethical behavior.
