Tragoedia is the primary antagonist in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX manga. In the era of Pharaoh Atem, Tragoedia served as the ka of a criminal, with Winged Kuriboh being the opposing ba. At the criminal's trial, he was found guilty, and Tragoedia was sealed within a tablet which was then shattered. Centuries later, Tragoedia reawakened as a lingering poltergeist and eventually took control of the American branch of Duel Academy.
