Juudai is a typical Duelist with a profound love for the game. He resides in the Slifer Red dorm and is often referred to as a Slifer Slacker. His aspiration is to become the next "King Of Games," and he is ready to challenge anyone to achieve this title. Juudai has the unique ability to see Duel Monster spirits. His spirit partner is Winged Kuribou, which he received from Yugi Moto in the anime, while in the manga, he got it from Kouyou Hibiki. In the anime, Juudai initially uses an "Elemental Hero" deck, then shifts to a "Neo-Spacian" deck, but eventually combines both "Elemental Heroes" and "Neo-Spacians" into one deck. His strategy revolves around fusing monsters together. In the manga, he plays an "Elemental Hero" deck that differs from the one in the anime. His alter ego, The Supreme King, emerges as one of the main antagonists in the third arc and season of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX. This character is portrayed as one of the darkest in the series. Starting from episode 136 until his defeat in episode 143, he serves as the primary antagonist. The Supreme King is characterized by his cold, collected, and ruthless demeanor. He is willing to sacrifice anyone to complete Super Fusion. He rarely speaks, only doing so when necessary or to mock his enemies, using a slightly condescending tone. His demonically golden eyes and overall appearance exude anger and hatred. While possessing Juudai's body, The Supreme King wields an "Evil Hero" Deck, which are dark versions of Juudai's "Elemental Heroes." Similar to Juudai, his tactics focus on Fusion Summoning but utilize "Dark Fusion," a twisted form of "Polymerization." "Dark Fusion" shields the summoned monster from destruction by Spell and Trap Cards during the turn it was summoned. He also has access to "Super Polymerization," which can use Fusion Material from both players' fields and cannot be negated by card effects. This card can summon powerful high-Level Fusion Monsters with devastating effects instantly. Unlike Juudai, who relies on chance in his unorthodox plays, The Supreme King is straightforward. His arsenal includes various effects ranging from card destruction to immunity from opposing card effects, reflecting the supremacy and omnipotence of a monarch. The Supreme King possesses alternate art versions of Elemental Heroes "Avian," "Burstinatrix," "Sparkman," and an unreleased version of "Wildheart."
