He is the main character of the story who transfers to an all-boys school and becomes one of the Princesses. He seems enthusiastic about it since all the Princesses receive a lot of free items and additional luxuries. His parents died in an accident, after which his uncle and aunt adopted him. He appears very reluctant to spend time with his family, mainly due to his younger step-sister Sayaka, who has an unhealthy obsession with him. He uses his role as a Princess as a distraction from his family issues, becoming deeply involved in acting like a Princess, much like Yuujiro. Often, he teams up with Yuujiro to tease Mikoto, much to Mikoto's annoyance. Yuujiro frequently jokes that he and Toru are lovers.
In fact, when Toru's step-sister, Sayaka, comes looking for him, Yuujiro kisses Toru to scare her away. Since then, they have been seen blushing in each other's presence.
