A second-year student at Crimson Field, Tomoyo was once a celebrated volleyball player in junior high. Her promising career took a hit when she sustained an injury during a match, compelling her to step away from the sport. Despite being hailed as a "genius setter," she decided not to return to volleyball. However, after considerable persuasion, Tomoyo eventually joined Nobara's team, becoming their sixth and final member. Following Yui's departure, she was chosen as the team captain.
