Contrary to his appearance and moniker, the Archangel is neither an angel nor does "the Archangel" represent his real name. These traits are simply symbols of his status as the leader of the Malkuth Order, a religious organization dedicated to understanding, protecting, and engaging with the Absolute God. Following the cataclysm known as the Great Heat, the Archangel faced Dextera before the Neuro Tower. He instructed him to bring the Angelic Rifle to the base of the tower, where he would await him. However, the true intentions behind the Archangel's actions remain shrouded in mystery. The Archangel is calm, composed, and driven by a sense of duty to save the world from its distortions. Raised to lead the Malkuth Order from a young age, he naturally embraces his responsibilities and maintains an air of control even under pressure. His leadership has earned him significant respect and trust from his peers, exemplified by the dedication of Number 47. Yet, having faced discrimination in the past, the Archangel tends to be reclusive, particularly towards those affected by the twisting, as observed by Doctor Angelicus. In his youth, the Absolute God appeared on Earth, and the Malkuth Order promptly housed it in the Neuro Tower for examination. With the Absolute God came Consciousness Orbs, large sensory orbs used to transmit information, which were found scattered worldwide. Unfortunately, distortions also emerged, warping reality itself. This included people who clung to their delusions and became oblivious to the distortions around them. While the Archangel was also impacted by the twisting, he experienced it differently; he gained the ability to perceive the true distortion of the world and those around him. As a child, the Archangel endured mockery for his oddly colored hair and eyes—pale and red, respectively. Even his family was ashamed of him, attempting to hide his peculiarities from the public. Surprisingly, he reacted with shock when Angelicus complimented his eye color after she joined the Malkuth Order. He had an older sister who became vegetalized due to the twisting. She was the first instance of a human beginning to transform into a Meta-Being, a once-human monster warped by delusions. Witnessing her gradual descent was a painful ordeal for the Archangel and his family. Tragically, her distortion culminated in her death; her father, driven to insanity by his own distortions, shot her in the head. The Archangel, who witnessed this atrocity, fled in panic, now determined to uncover the source of the distortions causing global suffering. In search of answers, he followed the Consciousness Orbs, leading him to the Neuro Tower and the Absolute God. The murder of his sister, along with other childhood hardships, fueled the Archangel's fervent desire to find a cure for the world's and humanity's distortions. His investigations consistently pointed back to the Absolute God, which eventually became the focus of his blame for every injustice plaguing the world. Throughout his years in the Malkuth Order, where he became leader early in adulthood, the Archangel's hatred for the Absolute God grew significantly. The increasing suffering convinced him of its incompetence. His rise to the top of the Malkuth Order finally gave the Archangel the power to act on his true intentions: destroy the Absolute God, take its place, and create a new world free from suffering.
